About the Recipe

Our slow-fermented sourdough is lightly buttered with Grove & Meadow plant-based butter, toasted until golden, then topped with fresh banana slices and finished with a sprinkle of Chia seeds. A wholesome, comforting bite designed to nourish and energise.

Sourdough Breakfast Toast

Ingredients

  • Slices of Brown's Food Slow-fermented Sourdough bread

  • Grove & Meadow Plant-based butter

  • 1–2 ripe bananas, sliced

  • Chia seeds, to finish

Preparation

  • Lightly spread Grove & Meadow plant-based butter over each slice of sourdough bread.

  • Toast the bread in a toaster until golden and crisp on the edges.

  • Slice the bananas into even rounds.

  • Arrange the banana slices generously over the warm toast.

  • Sprinkle with Chia seeds for texture and nourishment.

  • Serve immediately while warm.
